Team Caitlin takes a Break [Wheel-a-Thon]

Those of you who have been following me for some time may note the absence of my usual “Team Caitlin Rides Again” post this year. For the past 7 or 8 years (I’ve lost track), we have done the DeKalb County Wheel-A-Thon, a fundraiser for RAMP, the local advocacy non-profit group that helps people with disabilities live more independent lives. They do things like make sure that housing adheres to ADA, and provide educational advocates for kids like Caitlin as we work with our local school district.

The Wheel-A-Thon is still going on. This weekend, as a matter of fact. But we won’t be participating.

The organization is still great, and does good work. We still love them. We just ran out of energy, and needed a year off.

So, we’re not walking this year. HOWEVER, if you still would like to donate to support their cause, you can do that by clicking on “Donate Now” and, if you like, tell ’em Team Caitlin sent you.

Thank you.
