As you know (Bob), I was interviewed for TV Guide this week, as part of the fan favorites cover story where Doctor Who pretty much blew the competition out of the water.

When the interview was arranged, I was SWORN TO SECRECY, and I couldn’t talk about it at all. Especially since I couldn’t be sure that any quotes from me would even be used. They weren’t guaranteeing that. 🙂 I had a lovely phonecall with Aubry, the person who wrote the story, and we talked about the show, and about fandom and conventions and things like that.

She told me that they would send me copies of the issue, as a thank you for my participation.

So I waited for them… and then the issue came out, and the issues hadn’t come yet. So I went all over town looking for copies and picked up a couple, just in case for some reason my copies had gone astray. Because TV GUIDE. I mean, this was ubiquitous in my house growing up!

A package arrived today. And now I know why it took so long:

Because Aubry had Matt Smith sign one of the copies to Caitlin, when he stopped by the offices for his interview. O_O

This? This is made of SO MUCH AWESOME that I don’t even know where to begin.

You guys, I love this show and this fandom so very much.
