1. Friends of the NIU Libraries event this coming Tuesday! Fred Mitchell of the Chicago Tribune is our speaker. It’s free! You should come!
2. Still tired from WorldCon. Driving back and forth to Texas took a lot out of us. Slowly regrowing brain. More WorldCon and Hugo-specific postings will follow.
3. We will be at the Southeastern Wisconsin Festival of Books later this month, (Sept 21-22), which will be lots of fun. One of the non-public things planned for that weekend is a packing-up-swag party at John Klima’s house, so that we can fulfill the rest of our Kickstarter goodies to our backers. Thank you for your patience!
4. We are now planning our trip back east to the Boston/Worcester area in the first 2 weeks of October. Which will feature a public event at Annie’s Book Stop in Worcester on Friday, October 4, from 7-9 pm, for Glitter & Mayhem and all of the Dig books. More details as we have them, but for now, mark your calendars! If you are a Boston/Worcester local who participated in any of our projects, PLEASE COME!
5. Caitlin has started her school year. She seems to be enjoying it thus far.
