2013 in review: Awards Eligibility

Happy New Year!

I haven’t yet done my full 2013 year-in-review post (that’s coming soon), but since John Scalzi did his “here’s what I did and what it’s eligible for” post, it’s about time.

Here are the things I made in 2013 that are eligible for awards. If you liked them, I appreciate your consideration.

In 2013, I edited short fiction, and I participated in a podcast. Both of these activities are eligible for Hugo Awards (but not Nebula Awards), so I’ve listed the relevant categories.

Best Editor (Short Form) Apex Magazine, Glitter & Mayhem, Book of Apex vol. 4

Best Semiprozine Apex Magazine: Lynne M. Thomas, Michael Damian Thomas, and Jason Sizemore

Best Fancast (Verity!: Deborah Stanish, Erika Ensign, Katrina Griffiths, L.M. Myles, Lynne M. Thomas, and Tansy Rayner Roberts)
Because I love my husband, I also want to note that Michael is eligible for his editorial work this year, too. He served as the Managing Editor for Apex Magazine in all of 2013, and he also edited and co-edited books of his own.
