Book Review: Rock Addiction by Nalini Singh

[cross posted from my Goodreads]

Rock Addiction (Rock Kiss, #1)Rock Addiction by Nalini Singh

My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Picked up the ebook on sale, since I enjoyed the other Nalini Singh books I’ve read (her shapeshifters stuff). Settled down with this while sick with a virus as comfort reading.

Riproaring ride with a Kiwi librarian and the lead singer of a band. Themes of fame and lack of privacy, fairly explicit sex scenes. Good, bad boy fun.

Another great example of contemporary romance where the couple getting together is about learning to trust one another and deal with each others’ shit through lots of communication. Not fixing, but dealing and coping and finding a way forward together.

If you like: raunchy rock stars, dirty talk, found family, and brave librarians who own their shit, this book is for you.
